A backpack specifically designed for girls headed off to school for the first time, as well as those that are in middle and high school, the Roxy Junior’s Huntress Poly Backpack (see good deal) offers a tremendous amount of storage space in a form factor that is relatively compact and comfortable to carry over longer periods of time.
Review Of The Roxy Junior’s Huntress Poly
A traditionally sized backpack for students, this bag offers a tremendous amount of carrying capacity without ever overloading young students down. It’s multiple interior compartments help people better organize their books and their technology, while also offering exterior pockets (including one that is lined specifically for water bottles) that bring a lot of extra utility to the table.
Manufactured entirely out of polyester, this is a backpack that is strong, durable, and will continue to look just like brand-new for years and years to come. The polyester is not waterproof, but it’s going to be able to shed water a lot more effectively than most other traditional backpack construction materials.
The stitching on this backpack is absolutely second to none. If you’ve ever looked at inexpensive backpacks before, the odds are pretty good that you’ve noticed they aren’t exactly the finest stitched things on the planet. However, this one bucks that trend, and you can tell that the people responsible for manufacturing this backpack understand the importance of heavy-duty stitching to keep the bag together.
The hardware on this bag is very well made (constructed entirely out of stainless steel), and all of the zippers have been coded to match the pink pattern. The zippers are pretty heavy duty themselves, though they are going to zip open and closed effortlessly. The teeth will not get interlocked with one another, and thanks to the 100% polyester construction, you usually aren’t going to have to worry about any stray threads gumming up the tracks, either.
Pros and Cons
The big benefits that the Roxy Junior’s Huntress Poly bring to the table would have to be that it is incredibly comfortable as far as backpacks go. This bag has been designed with ergonomics in mind and evenly distributes all of the weight that it is capable of carrying evenly across the shoulders and the back. This isn’t the kind of bag that is going to fatigue anyone anytime soon, that’s for sure.
On top of that, the construction materials throughout are top-notch, and the overall construction quality is second to none as well. The multiple interior pockets make organization effortless, and the padded laptop sleeve makes this the perfect bag for students there
On the flipside, this isn’t exactly the least expensive backpack that you’re ever going to come across. Combine that with the loud and in your face pattern that requires a special personality to pull off, and you’re looking at a few minor drawbacks that certainly aren’t deal breakers by any stretch of the imagination.
At the end of the day, there are a lot of bags that you’ll have the opportunity to purchase, but few (if any) are going to offer you the perfect blend of performance and comfort – not to mention design – that this bag offers.
